Starting just minutes from Newcastle, hunting opportunities abound in the black hills of Eastern Wyoming – a sportsman’s paradise.
Winter hunting includes pronghorn antelope, mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, sage grouse, sharptail grouse, waterfowl and doves.
Spring and Fall hunting includes turkey and year round hunting for coyotes, prairie dogs, red fox, jack rabbits and other animals classified as predators.
There is a lot of private land just minutes from The Pines Country Inn in Newcastle. We recommend using a GPS, which will help you find public land versus private.
